Halloween is for dogs too, thanks to ‘Barktoberfest’ coming to Kingston Collection

Halloween isn’t just for kids. At the new JB’s Indoor Dog Park in Kingston, Halloween goes to the dogs for their third year Oktoberfest Sunday October 23rd from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

JB’s Indoor Dog Park has had a home in Norwell since 2019, and Jackie and Kevin Brady have decided to expand with a second location at Kingston Collection which opened in September this year.

For the past three years, the Bradys have hosted Barktoberfest and they are thrilled to continue that tradition in their new location in Kingston.

Kevin Brady, Jackie and Kevin’s son and Kingston location manager, can’t wait to see the dogs dressed in their Halloween best.

“There will be a DJ, food, drink, a costume contest, trick contests and a dog parade at the end,” he said. ‚ÄúThis will be the first indoor Barktoberfest due to inclement weather, so the dogs and their owners will take over the Kingston Mall for an afternoon of wagging and treats.

Brady explained how Barktoberfest is a great way to socialize with like-minded people and test out JB’s facilities.

“It’s a great way for dogs to socialize and we hope lots of dogs will come along and have a fun Halloween.”

While Barktoberfest is all about the four-legged pals, owners also get perks with a beer garden, local vendors, and food.

All dog friendly are invited to show off their best costumes and experience all that JB’s indoor dog park has to offer.

All that remains is to find an outfit.
