What did he put in that hole?
At some point in your life, you’re bound to face one of the most frustrating problems of homeownership: critters digging holes and tunnels under your garden.
Whether it’s moles, groundhogs, ants, cockroaches, rabbits, or any number of pesky critters, when you have a well-maintained patch of grass and fertilized soil, wildlife will notice. and try to move it.
Most people take a conventional route to getting rid of the problem and simply call an exterminator, set a trap, or pull out the trusty gun, and deal with their pest.
But some people decide to take a much more explosive approach…
Like this guy, who decided to pop the old firecracker in the hole, but instead of a firecracker he used, well, to be honest, I’m not sure exactly what he used because the result was definitely a bit more than expected…
Dressed in dad’s classic outfit of jorts, flip flops and a polo shirt with sunglasses folded into the buttons, the guy must have gotten a little too excited about the explosives he shoved down the hole, because when he finally got a match lit there it was game over.
The ENTIRE yard exploded, sending dirt high into the air, especially for a tiny space like that. He clearly wasn’t expecting this given the two dogs relaxing in the garden with him, but what the hell were you thinking?
Did you go to the local fireworks store and ask for the biggest thing they had? Or did you meet some guy in a trench coat you found on Craigslist?
I mean he’s lucky only the yard was damaged. If it was just a little more miscalculated, rodents would be the least of his worries.
Fortunately, everything seemed to be fine, but my God, it was crazy…
Next time, just call a professional. It’s safer that way.
