Prince Harry makes a surprise appearance in San Francisco

The Duke of Sussex, who called the ritzy Enclave of Santa Barbara de Montecito at home since 2020, spoke onstage at the Presidio Theater during a tech conference hosted by the Masters of Scale podcast.

The news was announced on Twitter on Wednesday by Financial Times reporter Dave Lee, who revealed that Harry was there to talk about mental health, an issue he has championed since his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, inspired him to ask for help.

The prince spoke about his personal experience of growing up without a therapist. He allegedly told the public that during his time in the Royal Family (or as Harry called it, ‘my previous job’) he had never heard the words ‘therapy’ or ‘coaching’, reported people magazine.

“Then the blinders went off and his life changed,” tweeted Doron Weber, vice president of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, who was at the conference.

“I have a coach; I wish I had two,” Harry reportedly added.

Little is known about where Harry might be staying in San Francisco, and it’s unclear if he’s being joined by Meghan.

In a recent interview with VarietyMeghan revealed that the couple quickly adapted to life in California and even enjoyed their iconic fast food chain, In-N-Out.

“There is one halfway between LA and our part of the country. It’s really fun to pass by the drive-thru and surprise them. They know our order.

The Masters of Scale Summit at the Presidio Theater wraps up Thursday night. Other speakers include Tyra Banks and Bill Gates.
