When it comes to raving, if you don’t share the same interest as your partner, evenings spent on the dance floor can quickly become a drag.
A Craigslist user found this out the hard way and decided he was tired of trying to keep up. The author explains that their wife is always interested in going out to electronic music events in Brooklyn and has reached out to the public to hire a chaperone for her.
The author explains that his wife usually likes to go out on the weekends, and the compensation they offer is definitely not to be overlooked: $30 per hour, plus full payment for your event tickets.
The opportunity, which was captured via screenshot by nightlife producer Terence Edgerson and shared on Instagram, sounds like a dream job in the making for one lucky electronic dance music fan. But before you rush to write your application, the user made it clear that they were asking for a gay man for the role.

“I just need someone who can accompany her to these events as a friend so I can rest,” reads the ad, titled “Looking for a gay man to take his wife to the party (Chelsea)”.
Sadly, the original post has since been deleted, but that hasn’t stopped a steady influx of answers in its wake.
