Young people beaten at Western Springs restaurant: cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs police released their latest blotter on Tuesday. Here is the information from the reports:

Battery

  • A woman told police on October 5 that her infant son was beaten by another youth in Subway in the Garden Market mall at 47th Street and Willow Springs Road.

Vandalism

  • A person told police on October 5 that the driver’s side front and rear doors of their car were damaged, possibly by a key, while parked near the Lyons Township South Campus football pitch Highschool.

Fraud

  • A resident of the 4800 block of Elm Avenue told police Oct. 3 that he paid over $300 for an Xbox on Craigslist, but did not receive it. The seller blocked it.
